 Membership in ANC
There is strength in numbers which is why we want to reach out to as many nephrologists as possible to grow our cause and strengthen our collective voice. Membership is free and joining is easy, click here. (Membership is limited to nephrologists practicing in the United States.)
There is only one prerequisite for membership: that you have the desire to be informed about issues facing our profession, and you want to help shape public policy and reach out to elected officials with a strong and unified voice.
Our goal with ANC is to serve as a grassroots utility, complementing and supporting the efforts of leadership nephrology organizations by bolstering current issue advocacy efforts. By working together, ANC hopes to ensure the greatest impact of advocacy on common issues of concern.
Participate in ANC as much or as little as you like. While we welcome active participation from all of our members, we are aware that all of us lead busy and demanding professional lives. ANC is here to save you time by bringing the issues to you and getting your voice heard.
As a member of ANC you will:

Have the opportunity to help shape public policy that affects patients, providers and you with one strong and unified voice;

Have the chance to actively engage in public advocacy working collaboratively with other patient, physician and provider organizations;

Have available to you up-to-the-minute information on public policy issues;

Have the opportunity to participate in meetings with legislators and policymakers in Washington, DC and in your local area;

Have regular communications from ANC (if you choose) alerting you on current issues and advocacy efforts of interest in kidney care advocacy.
